No Churn Ice Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 c heavy cream
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract or seeds from 1 vanilla bean pod

Instructions
 

  • . In a medium sized bowl, mix together condensed milk, pinch of salt, and vanilla.
  • In a large bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold about 1 cup of cream into the sweetened condensed milk. Gently fold the whipped cream/condensed milk mixture into the remaining whipped cream.
  • Spread into a 9x5 bread pan and freeze
  • Variations:
  • After freezing for about 2 hours, stir in mix-ins of your choice. Return to freezer and freeze for 3 more hours, until hard and scoopable.

Variations:
Cookies and Cream: Crushed Oreo Cookies
S'mores: Crushed graham crackers, marshmallow fluff, hot fudge
Peanut Butter Cup: Chopped Reeses or Butterfingers, melted peanut butter, 1/4 c hot fudge
Raspberry: Chopped fresh raspberries, raspberry jam
Chocolate Chocolate Chip: Stir in 1/2 c cocoa powder to the condensed milk in the beginning. Add in chocolate chips after 2 hours of freezing. 
Mint Chocolate Chip: Add 1 tsp peppermint extract to the condensed milk. Add in chocolate chips or chunk or even crushed oreos after 2 hours of freezing.
