Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless pork chops
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • Seasoned salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2-3 green apples sliced
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the chops lightly with oil and season with seasoned salt and pepper on each side. Place in the hot pan and cook about 8-10 minutes per side, or until cooked through (meat thermometer reads 150. Pork will continue to cook while it rests). Transfer to a plate and cover in foil to keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. When butter is melted the sugar is dissolved, add the apples. Cover and cook until the apples are tender.
  • Add the pork chops, and juices, back into the skillet and stir everything together. Serve the pork chops with apples and sauce from the skillet.
